Once upon a time, in a small country called Denmark, there was a man who needed a flashlight. But not just any flashlight. He needed to have the BEST flashlight in the whole world. So he searched and he searched and finally a salesman told him, "This is the best flashlight in the whole world!" So the man bought the flashlight.

He brought it home with him and he turned it on. "Is THIS really the best flashlight in the whole world?" he asked… his dog, because his dog was the only one there!

"Woof", said the dog. Translated to Human that means, "Well, it's not very bright and it can only shine with full power for a couple of minutes, but I guess it is! But only because there is no other flashlight that is BETTER than this one!"

"Ahhhhh", said the man, because he understood Dog. "You have a point. So, we will MAKE a flashlight that is better than this one, and THAT will be the BEST FLASHLIGHT IN THE WHOLE WORLD!"

And that is a true story. And that is how and why the WiseDive flashlight came to be.

Why LED?

When trying to produce the worlds most powerful handheld flashlights, you have to use the best available suppliers whether this be Luxeon, Seoul or anybody else.

We started up with K2 (except Tactical 1500, laser, UV and infrared), but change whenever we feel there are better thoroughly tested products on the market. We have access to the best available bins and our flashlights are prepared for the coming years of enhancement of output from the leading manufactorers of LEDs. Whenever a new LED is tested and put to market we can litteraly market a new flashlight within days.

More than 30 years burntime!

The burntime of our most commonly used LED from is more than 50.000 hours. Or put into years of 4-5 hours use pr. day for more than 30 years!

How do I dispose of the battery

Battery Disposal: Rechargeable batteries is the best choice if you wish to protect the environment. WiseDive uses the most environment friendly batteries availble, but it is very important that we dispose of all batteries when they are dead. Legislation all over the world are minimum requirements for how to act. WiseDive products are tools to better experience the world, and we want to do our best to preserve the world for future adventures.

When you need to change the rechargeable battery in your flashlight this can only be done through a WiseDive certified Service Center. WiseDive will then receive all the used batteries and dispose of these in line with the EU Waste Legislation.

Type: All batteries in the WiseDive family is based on 3 lithium Ion (18650) cell packs 3,7 volt each combined serially =11,1volt depending on which flashlight the amps range from 4,2Amp on Tactical and2,1Amp on Street and Adapt, and finally 700Miiliamp on Stealth. All batteries can be transported by air without special permission.

World wide return program: If at any point your flashlight is totally dead or you do not wish to use it any more you can always ship it back to WiseDive without shipping charges. WiseDive will take the batteries from end-of-life flashlights and dispose of the batteries in line with the waste legislation. To return an end-of-life flashlight to WiseDive - contact support@wisedive.com and you will receive shipping instructions.

How many times can the battery be recharged?

The battery in the WiseDive Tactical is based on 3 lithium Ion (18650) cell packs 3.7 volt each, combined serially = 11.1volt, 5.2Amp and the battery in the WiseDive Compact is based on 2 lithium Ion (18650) cell packs, 3.7 volt each, combined serially = 7.4volt, 2.6Amp. Lithium ion batteries have a lot of advantages but need to be handled correctly.

WiseDive flashlights have to be kept fully charged at all times. Our warranty won't cover flashlights that have been left uncharged for a period of 2-3 weeks and this is not to happen more than 3 times, as this will significantly deteriorate the battery. The Li-ion batteries chemistry is not able to survive longer periods without energy so if not charged with a timely interval your batteries will get less efficient and the chemistry inside will eventually give up. So therefore remember always to fully recharge your flashlight before storing it for longer periods of time.

The self-discharge time when fully charged is 5 years

Extended battery lifetime: The batteries can do a minimum of 300 FULL charges if handled correctly, after 300 charges the output will decrease by 20%. Since the batteries and the charging is controlled by our intelligent inbuilt charging circuitry the lifetime is maximized. With a daily use of 2-3 hours the batteries will last for many years. When the battery needs to get changed - it will be possible to refurbish it with a new one (you have to deliver the flashlight to a autorized WiseDive Servicepartner to get it refurbished).

Inbuilt Charging circuitry: Every individual flashlight has it own inbuilt charging circuitry which makes it possible to charge the WiseDive products directly from the car. Our flashlights take in Dc from 13,5 volt up to 18 volt (the reason for using 13,5V as supposed to 12V is, that we don't want to drain vehicle battery unless the generator is running). All flashlights can charge on all the charger fixtures we provide which means you don't have to purchase a charging solution the next time you buy additional flashligts!

40 pcs. of size AA batteries: The battery capacity that tactical holds is equal to app. 40 pcs of size AA batteries but we only use 1/3 of the space/volume for the same power output and 1/2 of the weight. We pack that amount of energy because we emit a lot of light and use a lot of energy. To obtain that much power we use the latest technology from the laptop industry. The result is high volume, high degree of battery safety, and small volume size compared to output.

Why are the lenses designed the way they are?

All Lenses for the WiseDive family is specially designed solutions that will ad new dimensions to today's standards. Instead of using polycarbonate we use optically clear PMMA we use new ways of doing internal reflections designs that optimizes output and uniformity. Further more the lenses are designed with an outer ring of light that has a not so intense beam that is used at close perimeter, and a very intense and narrow beam that contains 80% of the remaining light to give you - the user perfect long-range capability.

The grooves in the surface of the lens serves 2 different purposes they maximize the light output and they protect the lens from scratches. If the lense gets dirty simply rinse it with water.

About payment and shipping

What kind of payment do you accept?

You can pay with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Visa/Electron, Mastercard, JCB, Diners, and just need to key in your card number, expiration date and control number when you order the goods. The amount is not withdrawn from your account until the entire order has been shipped.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship worldwide.

What are your shipping charges?

The delivery price depends on the goods you order. The total delivery price for your order will be shown in the shopping cart.

What is the delivery time?

Normal delivery time is within 2-5 working days. The expected delivery time will however appear for each item in the shop, and if you order several items together, your order will only be sent once all the items are ready for delivery.

Can I have my order delivered to a different address?

No, for credit card security reasons we can only deliver your order to the address connected with the credit card (the billing address).

WiseDive only use your private details - name, address and e-mail – for sending you your goods and to inform you if unforeseen problems regarding delivery should arise. Furthermore, after placing an order you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail.

We will retain information in connection with your purchase for 2 years to ensure correct action in the event of a guarantee issue.

Delivery

Order confirmation

Shortly after you have purchased goods online, you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail. It contains, amongst other things, an order number, name and address of the payee, the method of payment, the delivery address as well as an overview of the goods ordered.

Receipt

The receipt is the last step in the purchasing process, and we recommend that you print it out immediately after making a purchase. The receipt must be shown when making an exchange of the products, annulment or claim.

Exchange rights

You have 14 days exchange rights on all goods you purchase online, valid from the date you receive the goods. A precondition of the right to exchange an item is that the item is returned in its original condition and quantity. A copy of the receipt must always accompany the goods.

Annulment rights

You have 14 days annulment rights on all goods you purchase online, valid from the day you receive the goods. A precondition of the right to annul the order is that the item must be returned in the original condition and number. The receipt must always accompany the goods. You also have the right to annul a purchase by not accepting/receiving the goods, in which case the receipt is required. Alternatively, you may send the goods to WiseDive and you will be credited the relevant amount.

The warranty will become null and void if the product is misused, abused, tampered with or taken apart.

The batteries can do a minimum of 300 FULL charges if handled correctly, after 300 charges the output will decrease by 20%. After 500 charges the battery will need to be replaced.

You have a 2 year guarantee (limited guarantee for the batteries) if any problems arise with your WiseDive product. Return your WiseDive product to our address after which we will correct the problem as soon as possible or alternatively send you a new product. Vandalism, misuse or the like are not covered by the exchange rights.

Enclose your receipt when exchanging the product.

Consumer agreement act

Your order and your purchase via WiseDive’s e-Shop are subject to normal Danish laws, hereunder the consolidated Act no. 886 concerning certain consumer agreements (door-to-door sales, remote sales and current services) of 23 December 1987 which was amended by Act no. 262 of 6 June 1993 and Act no. 1098 of 21 December 1994 – commonly known as the “Door Sales Act”.

Provision

We reserve the right for typos, errors in pricing, VAT and rate changes as well as delivery failures. Agreements regarding purchase of goods from WiseDive are regarded as final once the order has been received and expedited. Offers are valid as long as stocks last.
